Beautifully designed, energy-efficient Affordable Homes at The Steadings using local materials

The beautifully designed, energy-efficient Affordable Homes at The Steadings are built to the same high standard as all other homes within the new neighbourhood, and by the same developer for each parcel.

It is important to respond to local housing needs and the provision of Affordable Housing across The Steadings will be made up of a mixture of dwelling sizes and types to accommodate families and smaller households.

The new homes at The Steadings will include 30% Affordable Homes, available to local people through the relevant housing association for each selected parcel. The homes will be a mix of social rent, affordable rent and shared-ownership.

The first phase includes 14 Affordable Homes (including 6 shared-ownership homes), these were are available through Bromford.

The second phase within parcels 2A and 2D will include the provision for 71 Affordable Homes.

Details for Parcel 2A will be displayed shortly.

Parcel 2D will comprise: 15 Shared Ownership homes (10 x 2-bedroom semi-detached or terrace, 5 x 3-bedroom semi-detached or terrace); 3 Social Rent homes (4-bedroom semi-detached or terrace); and 20 Affordable Rent (10 x 1-bedroom apartment or maisonette, 8 x 2-bedroom semi-detached or terrace, and 4 x 3-bedroom semi-detached or terrace).
