The Steadings

Supporting local groups and charitable organisations

news update

The Steadings will become an integrated new neighbourhood which is very much a part of the wider Cirencester community.

During the various phases of the development, we are making a positive impact locally through a range of investments. One other area where we are contributing to the local community is through the support of various groups and charitable organisations.

Here are some of the highlights from last year….

The Corinium Museum invited pupils from Chesterton Primary School to a poetry workshop to write poems and to create displays linked to Earth Day. We were delighted to have provided sponsorship to help enable this for the pupils.

We provided sponsorship for planting at a large new pond within the grounds of Powell’s Primary School, to help support children to learn about the natural world.

The Steadings sponsored the Innovation Award at the Cirencester Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2023, celebrating the exceptional businesses in the local community.

In August we contributed towards the Phoenix Festival, an annual free community music and entertainment event.

To round up the year we also supported the Cirencester Singers Christmas Concert, in aid of the Foodbank and Parkinson’s UK.

A lot of the events and activities that take place across Cirencester are organised by dedicated teams of incredible people who are more often volunteers, or people who go above and beyond their role for their organisation. We are delighted that we can contribute in a small way to ensuring the success of their initiatives.

This year we have sponsored The Barn Theatre Good Egg Awards, recognising those in the community who are an unsung hero who deserves some recognition.

We are again sponsoring the Cirencester Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, Business of the Year (up to 20 employees) category, in July.

We will also be working with Cirencester Town Council to support the Big Lunch in June.

Cirencester has so much to offer and these events and initiatives all contribute to making it a great town to live in.
