The Steadings

Construction Noise Monitoring

news update

The Construction Management Plan (CMP) for The Steadings includes a “Noise and Vibration Management Plan” (NVMP). This has been put in place in relation to works to Parcels 2A, 2B & 2C, which include the access road and associated drainage and earthworks; and the landscaping of the new open space areas.

The monitoring regime of the NVMP includes the installation of two fully automated noise monitoring stations, and in-person site visits. The data is captured and issued in reports prepared by Quantum Monitoring, a specialist compliance monitoring team within Quantum Acoustics Limited.

The full reports for February, March and April 2024 can be seen in the Resources section of our website here.

All three reports conclude that: ‘The measurement data shows full compliance with the noise limits approved in the CMP/NVMP’.

We submit the Construction Noise Monitoring Reports to the Local Planning Authority (LPA) every three months, and we will make all noise monitoring reports available on our website when issued.

Should you have any queries relating to noise on site, please email the Montel Site Manager, Steve Draper: steve.draper@montel-group.com
