Upcoming minor remedial works to Fire Station Roundabout and on Love Lane
Following the successful completion of improvement works to the Fire Station Roundabout, Midland Road and the mini roundabout with Love Lane, Bathurst Development has instructed Montel Civil Engineering to carry out minor remedial works within the Fire Station Roundabout area on Friday 27 February 2026.
This involves work to resurface an area to the entrance of the Fire Station, along with repairing a damaged sign. In addition to some minor surface work near the Love Lane roundabout.
The team at Montel intend to carry out the work to the Fire Station area starting:
Friday 27 February 2026
20.00 to 06.00
For one night only.
There will be one lane closed on the A419.
In addition, 3-way traffic lights will be in place on Midland Road and Love Lane mini- roundabout on:
Friday 27 February 2026
09.30 to 06.00
Saturday 28 Feb February
It may be necessary to defer these works in the event of heavy rain or low temperatures.
